So that’s it. I am 30.
I have 6 children , a beautiful home and I’m happier than I’ve been in my entire life. So that’s just pretty amazing isn’t it? Looking back , as a teenager I didn’t want children…. 16 year old me would not believe this would be my life…. 23 year old me would never believe I would have the happiness , success or stability I do.
Life is a roller coaster ( just gotta ride it , thanks Ronan ) . But seriously , there is so many things I’d tell 16 and 21 year old me if i could. So much reassurance I’d try offer. But we don’t get foresight. There’s no point dwelling on the past too much either , so let’s concentrate on now and the future.
Starting with now , I had a wonderful birthday , waking up in London and a relaxed day and takeaway with my in laws and tiny 3. They all truly spoilt me and i was just blown away.
Tuesday was everyone home and mini party time. You guys know I can’t resist any excuse for a balloon garland so roped in our favorite party decor company to help out.
Toby picked the black , white and gold theme ( he knew about the Gucci gifts , I just thought it was a cute theme ) . Making these garlands is so much fun and I loved draping the gold stars for something extra special ( I’ve actually saved these to go in the girls new room ) We always use peach blossom for our ballon garlands, not only do they have ready to buy themed packs , you can request custom colours too. Everything comes in a super pretty box ready to get your party in motion.
I love these crepe streamers for creating a photo walls and fast decor. We did a similar thing for Marlowe’s rainbow party and it always looks super fancy and it’s SO FAST! You can mix and match so many colours for really easy decor to suit any theme.
We had tons of snacky food , music , dancing and playing… I couldn’t ask for more.
All the babies helped me blow my candles out and I’m just glad I didn’t have to blow out 30. Toby didn’t let me make my own cake ( it might take me a good few days to make one and decorate it so I’m actually pretty glad I didn’t have to do it this time) , however the stunning toppers from willow and griff gave it all the bespoke feels and just made it complete.
Sweet charity cookies also sent me the best themed biscuits. We’ve been buying and using her cookies for years now and they’re just scrumptious . all her proceeds go to charity and her work is just stunning so do check out her instagram.
And as for the future , well who knows, the house is slowly beginning to look finished …. we’re spending as much time as possible driving to Abersoch and checking out more areas in Wales…. We just know Our hearts are by the sea and that’s where we want to be. So hopefully we will finalise a 5 year plan and set our minds to it.
There is so much I want to achieve in the next twelve months , including growing my blog , releasing some of the cute printables I’ve been working on , and taking more trips and learning more about photography…so watch this space.
