Weekly Round up

Well this is going to be a two weeks round up… What a 2 weeks it’s been.

We’ve had a top secret photo shoot for a brand we love to help out with their SS21 collection . So while we can’t share the images of the clothes we know when they come out next year we will have some fond beautiful memories to look back on.

We were very privileged to be asked to take part in the Toy Aid X Global Make some noise toy campaign. They’ve teamed with over 30 toy and entertainment companies to raise money for the charity by donating cash lump sums and also the profit from sales. We were sent a cool slime glam DIY for the girls and they LOVED IT. They had so much fun creating and mixing perfume to get the scents right. The addition or pearls , gems and glitter just made them swoon.

Last week we had to take Coast for a Covid-19 test after he was quite poorly over night and had a high temp. That was a very unexpected and difficult drive out , and hopefully once in a lifetime. The whole experience was quite distressing and defiantly felt like a sci-fi film. From the people in white suits , to passing the test out of the car window to be grabbed by a litter picker , the whole thing was very strange. Most luckily his results came back negative and he recovered in 2 days.

I had a wild two days pretty much deciding to repaint all our white walls white. Its one of those things that people think we’re crazy for having white walls with 6 children but its actually easier to keep up with and constantly looks fresh.

We’ve now confirmed our hotel in London for my 30th birthday given the new guidance and will just be keeping everything crossed for no second peak or lockdowns. I’m so excited to have a couple of nights away and explore Our favorite city again. Especially for my biggest birthday. But more on that to come.

Milk train , my London go to.

This week we made sprinkles cookie dough and threw a mini party at home . Not for anything in particular but if you can’t celebrate how amazing your kids are doing during a worldwide pandemic then when can you?

Theo and Izzy have been getting creative in the kitchen this week too with Theo making Harry Potter inspired chocolate lollies and Isabelles been painting butterfly biscuits. After watching me create biscuits and chocolate for months they’ve definitely got the bug to join in and create …. and I get to do the tasting for a change so it’s a winner already.

I’ve been so excited planning a super special give away for my 30th so I hope you’ll all love it and enter over on my instagram.

I’ve also started a new hashtag challenge on instagram ran by PagesOfEmma & Simply together . I love hashtag challenges because they give you a great daily prompt if your lacking in creativity or just fancy a challenge. It’s also a great way to meet new and like minded instagrammers.

My second arrival of arena flowers arrived on Thursday and did not disappoint. Beautiful blue hydrangeas that are just huge. They’re going to be a close favorite runner with peonies I think. You can sign up to Arena flower subscriptions here , and use code Signmeup for 50% off your first box.

I hope weather your taking this new freedom with both hands , or staying in and remaining cautious , that you are safe , happy and well.

I’ll see you next week.

I’m so excited to order these amazing teddies by Maileg from Eva & Rose. They’ll be perfect for the girls on their new triple bunks.
I found SmallPlantSellOn via the online fabulous places and placed my order right away. Super amazing plants and even better advise.
My account of the week has to be the beautiful Lydia and her two girls. We adore the same brands , talk forever about all sorts and she is just the strongest most beautiful human.
