Babies first Christmas.
Total magic, yup. Totally difficult and mind boggling. Double yup.
So if your little one ( or little one your buying for ) is one or under, they don’t really ‘ need anything … they probably don’t have many likes outside the things they already have. Annnnd you probably don’t want to buy something ‘for the sake of it’ , that will get re-gifted or binned , or something that they already have.
So after having six babies here’s a few of my biggest recommendations for one and under , because before you know if they’ll be moving and want more, outgrowing everything , or maybe just a luxury version of something they already have.
So this is number one on my big gift guide. It’s perfect for all ages but also for babies… how? because they can start learning to stand by pulling themselves up on it and slowly learn to cruise along it before walking. Also , from a keen sensory mum , i like to put blankets over it to make a den or tunnel , but also things like fairy lights etc to make something really beautiful to lay under and look.
Sarah and bendrix re my favourite wooden toys, we’ve bought a host for coast and liberty and they’re so beautifully well made. I love the stackers and pull alongs for babes. not only are they fun , but even before they can walk babies seem to love pushing and kicking them , chewing them or just watching mum or dad move them in front of them. They also make beautiful room decorations so everyone wins.
Ok hear me out. It’s a bib , yes. But it’s the most beautiful sumptuous bib out there, and i’ve felt A LOT of bibs in my years. Made from vegan leather i actually cant believe just how freaking soft they are. They’re also personalised so they’re super stylish and will probably be the only bib anyone babe ever needs again. It’s super cute to wear for Christmas day too.
I get my babes a soft toy or animal every Christmas . These little ( ok not so little ) guys are perfect for babes. Being crocheted they have super tactile bodies and their arms and legs are firm enough to hold and play but squishy enough love.
Ooh Noo play mat
I love this because all babies need a play mat but this is great to play with no matter how big they . My little one loves this just as much as his big brothers and its super easy to wash or throw in a bag and take to the beach or park too. Made with 100% pure cotton it’s sure to be soft on skin of all ages too.
A must have nursery and pay thing. All my kids have loved building blocks , regardless of brand or style kids love to stack and knock them down . I lovethese as theyre the perfect size for little hands to grab but each block can be personalised so they’re beautoful keepsakes too.
My babes love learning animal noises , So flash cards and animals are the perfect pair. Depending on the age of your babe , these might seem like a gift for an older babe but smaller children still love to see the contracting illustrations & babies don’t stay babies for long.
And for the child thats really hard to buy for ,
The most beautiful memory box.
Fully engraved and personalised it could say Christmas treasures , family memories , just about anything . I really love anything sentimental and this is a perfect gift for any age or gender.
