One of his biggest struggles has been getting to sleep. he used to lie awake for hours , even after we had gone to bed , just unable to go to sleep. We tried just about everything and nothing worked.
Id heard about weighted blankets and their success stories but to be honest , I didn’t know where to start , where to shop , what should be looking for… so I didn’t.
When snuzi life got in touch and offered to send Theo a blanket and cover I couldn’t wait to see if it made a difference.
As soon as it arrived Theo loved it , the soft fabric and sensory attributes just won him over and he couldn’t wait to get to bed that night and try it out.
Not wanting to base a review on a whim or a few novelty nights Theo has now had his blanket for a few months and there has been GIANT improvements. He’s asleep within half an hour and doesn’t wake . He no longer spends half the night kicking the quilt off and then chasing it round his bed. Because he’s sleeping better his mood is better and he’s doing better at school.
The on trend colours and fabric aren’t an eye sore like i worried they might be when i first thought about looking for such a blanket. The cool mint and grey dots fit the boys room theme perfectly and makes it look like any normal blanket to anyone else that may visit . The cover is removable and so simple to wash . If anything it just gets softer.
Theo adores the ‘ dotted side ‘ as he likes to have something to ‘ fiddle ‘ with and will often read in bed stroking his blanket.
