When it came to having number 6 we searched high and low for different seating options for him .
Having previously used various rockers we knew we needed something comfy and robust , but this time we needed something more off the ground with the smallest two girls being so young still.
We wanted Coast out of reach and out of harms way. We really didn’t want to sacrifice our interior style on something beige or typically baby – ish. We posted several posts and stories on instagram with the Tripp Trapp being a firm favourite so we were very honoured when Stokke baby got in touch to work with us. The stylish design is classic , typical of stokke and entirely timeless.
We were gifted 3 chairs for the smallest children all fully personalised and could straight away see how the chairs grow with them. Made from European beech wood can hold up to an 110 kg/242 lbs (adult) they will last them beyond childhood.
Each chair has their name on the back engraved . We chose all three chairs in black to suit our dining room but their are other colour options , each more beautiful than the last . With different wood colours , paint finishes and such a huge selection of accessories in every colour imaginable you can really create a chair as unique as your little one.

We were gifted the newborn set for Coast in grey , the fabric is very soft to touch but has a very wipeable almost water resistant quality. The newborn set also includes a wonderful toy bar you can attach a toy of choice. The newborn seat also features a 5 point safety harness.
We were also sent the Classic cushion for Marlowe and the baby set for Liberty. We will be purchasing the add on trays and harnesses for liberty as she has a habit of climbing out.
Having used stokke products in the past the super high quality we have come expect was more than met , the chairs are heavy and sturdy but easy to move. they are delivered flat packed and are super easy to build . Even alone , the instructions are straight forward and easy to follow.

Coasts newborn chair is luxuriously padded and features 2 positions , one more reclined meaning we can lay him down easily when asleep without having to move him.
The girls chairs have meant for the first time that they can sit at the same height as their brothers and big sister to colour , draw , eat and play .
The seat and foot plate positions can move to accommodate them as they grow and i love the thought of them still using these 20 years from now , be it at a dressing table , a breakfast bar in their first home , at a desk in university accommodation . Knowing they have a bit of childhood and a little bit of home wherever they go.
