Craft / Florist wire
Glue gun
Gypyphilia or flower of choice
Scissors

Take you wire and measure twice as long as you’d like your ear to be. I like to make mine bigger than my cake for extra effect. Twist into shape, making sure to wrap the wire at the bottom as you go.

When your happy with the shape, go ahead and cut the same length again and wrap around your first ear, this is to add some structure and also to give you something to weave flowers into.
When you’ve finished , start all over again to make your second base ear. I love how minimal they look like this and are totally fine as it.

If your adding flowers , first get cutting them off the stems so you have small sprigs , if your using a more faux vine , fabric or ribbon , leave it long and wrap it round, securing with glue as you go.

When glueing the flowers i like the start at the botton and work all the way round in one direction. slotting the stems between the 2 wires, then adding some hot glue to hold it in place. It dries clear so you can’t see if it gets a bit messy.
Fill both ears with flowers, leave to cool and dry. Remove any glue strings. You can spray them with hairspray to stop any shedding , then leave for 30 minutes at least. I left mine as is because i like mine to dry out and re use.

Then just bake ( or buy ) a cake and pop those beauties in and …and they you go , a modern , country cottage , totally instagrammable bunny easter cake.
