Then sew all together , personally I find it faster and I generally want to get scissors and cutters out of the way ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/thatmakessix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/2019-02-24-10.59.01-1_resized_20190224_113938408.jpg?resize=249%2C331&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-87\" width=\"249\" height=\"331\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><figcaption>I like to use a cutting matt for all fabric.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For the quilt , cut two pieces of fabric  &amp; one piece of wadding to 40 x 45 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place your fabrics right side together with the wadding in between , sew around the edges leaving a 5 cm gap at the bottom . Turn it right side out. Stitch your opening closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/thatmakessix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/2019-02-24-10.59.00-1_resized_20190224_113954888.jpg?resize=257%2C343&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-88\" width=\"257\" height=\"343\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><figcaption>Wadding between fabric.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You can top stitch this all the way round if you desire but it is optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the pillow Cut 2 pieces of fabric and wadding to22  x35  cm. ( OPTIONAL I add 2-3 layers of wadding for a fluffier pillow )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stitch the same as the quilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the sheet , Cut one piece of fabric to  50&#215;70 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can simply turn the edges over 1cm , iron , and stitch down for a &#8221; flat sheet&#8221; , or turn over 2cm , iron and stitch leaving a 3 cm opening , thread through your elastic , knotting together and stitching your opening closed. This will create a &#8221; fitted sheet &#8220;.
